Drawing Machine Operator

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make minor adjustments and repairs to machines
• Set up control panel for speed and footage
• Being responsible for making the proper string-ups
• Responsible for completing daily production reports
• Must be able to work under supervision and maintain ongoing communication with the supervisor and peers through verbal instruction and reports
• Operates machine to draw coil wire down to various sizes.
• Loads wire on to machine supply payoff.
• Installs drawing dies in appropriate location.
• Totally responsible for quality of end product
• Can use a micrometer to measure the diameter size, conduct visual checks, identify and resolve problems.
• Ability to achieve daily production targets
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• 3- 5 years’ Experience in high-speed drawing machines (9 head & 12 head).
• Drawing dies knowledge
• Experience in using different kinds of welding machines.
• Self-motivative
• Can manage wire Furnace it will be preferred.
